Meet the Team: Ana Maricar Corpuz

Ana Maricar Corpuz Employee of the Month

We are really delighted to announce that our Employee of the Month for March is one of our new additions – congratulations to Ana!  Ana joined the team earlier in 2021 and despite being based in the Philippines, she’s already become a part of the furniture – her infectious smile warms our morning huddles and the rest of the team have all commented on her strong work ethic and determination to overcome the challenges of being remote,  especially balancing different time zones.

We caught up with Ana for a chat to find out more about her, and how she’s getting to grips with her new role…

Hi Ana!  Congratulations on being crowned Employee of the Month!  Tell us a little bit about your time with Belroc so far..

Hello – and thanks!  It’s really nice to receive this recognition, especially since I am new to the team!  I’ve only been working at Belroc since January so it’s a little over three months now.  My job title is Sales Admin, and my role mainly involves providing sales support to Dan.

What did you do before?

I used to work as a Corporate Sales & Marketing executive for 13 years and previously as an International Project Sales Coordinator.

What’s your favourite thing about Belroc so far?

Good people!  Being part of a supportive team really makes all the difference.

What’s the most challenging thing?

Working on a different time zone – especially working at night here in the Philippines.

What would you say are the key attributes required to perform well in your role?

Dedication to your work, help each other to improve and team work, communication and collaboration for me is the key. No matter how hard your job is if you have good communication and teamwork within the team everything will work smoothly.

If you didn’t work at Belroc, what would your dream job be?

I think I would still work in sales!

Do you have any hobbies or interests away from work?

I love dogs.  Having time with my family and dogs is my number 1 interest away from work.  I also love to cook different foods for them.

Name one thing you couldn’t live without?

My family and my dogs.
