START YOUR CUSTOM CURTAINS JOURNEY NOW

All the colours of the spectrum!

Made to fit, Belroc can meet your interior design theme and your expectations. With a wide range of suppliers, we will do the research to match an existing fabric or provide you with a new panel fabric that suits your healthcare space.

Curtains are constructed with overlapped and double stitched hems. This improved sewing method strengthens the curtain seams allowing for an improved, long-lasting appearance, and ultimately an extended curtain life. Typical floor clearance is 12 to 15 inches or 305 to 380 mm and can be customized for your needs. A minimum of 10 percent extra fabric is added to the width to provide fullness.

Our custom patient privacy curtains will hold up in all kinds of hospital units, clinics, or care homes, while offering a pleasing aesthetic that blends with any interior design theme.

To mesh or not to mesh?

Mesh on hospital curtains is required by Canadian fire code. In almost all cases, a 22″ (550 mm) mesh is compliant, avoiding any obstructions for sprinkler systems. Belroc can help you complete a full curtain inventory audit, which includes a fire safety assessment.

Our mesh is constructed out of 100 percent nylon, producing a header that is firmer, and without sag, pucker, or raw edges. The mesh is sewn inside the top hem of the panel, allowing for a stronger, cleaner joint.

Our hospital-style cubicle curtains provide options to frame in the double-strength tape for durability or the matching panel fabric for visual appeal.

We offer several different mesh to panel connections:

  • Standard sewn mesh
  • Framed mesh (tape or fabric)
  • Snap system

The new Oakville Trafalgar Hospital offers state of the art healthcare for the surrounding community. When construction first began, Belroc was selected as the vendor of choice for the supply and installation of privacy healthcare curtains, track system, and shower curtains throughout the entire facility. With a patient bed capacity of nearly 500, the hospital needed to ensure patients receive privacy as they are treated and recovering. Belroc was tasked with supplying 12,500 linear feet of cubicle track and 855 curtains to ensure adequate privacy throughout the building.

A good privacy curtain system will improve patient safety, reduce room down time, and enhance the facility appearance. Eliminating patient room variation, and bringing custom curtains within privacy systems promotes consistency and does not compromise patient experience.

Zaid explains that within projects there are good, easy trades, and there are not-so-good trades. “Belroc was easy. I hadn’t had experience working within their industry before this project. Working with them was a great introduction into the field. Belroc is an excellent company to work alongside”.

Zaid has praised Belroc Group for their hard work, organization, and collaboration with multiple parties, ultimately producing successful results. “From day one Belroc took charge of their part in the project, producing exceptional work.”

Large ventures, such as a hospital build, demand significant coordination of all trades. By actively monitoring and identifying requirements, Belroc Group was able to carry out the project to completion, within the proposed timeline, remaining coordinated and organized throughout the entirety of the project.

Overall, the project was carried out with ease. Zaid stated, “All parties were satisfied, and very pleased with a successful end result. Belroc was an extremely helpful company to work with.” From the beginning, Belroc carried out project milestones with the utmost organization and assistance.

Additional requirements were added without hesitation, and no time was wasted worrying about their competence—Belroc staff knew what they were doing and got the work done. I would jump at the opportunity to work with Belroc Group again.
