We caught up with Travis for a quick chat about his success…
Hi Travis! Congratulations on your win – how does it feel?
I have to admit it was a bit of surprise to get this recognition! But it does feel good to receive it, especially at the moment.
You’ve been with Belroc for two years now – what’s your typical day like?
Generally, my day would be mostly out visiting clients and working to create tailored programs suited to their specific needs. Currently due to COVID-19 the visits have been cancelled and we are working to meet with clients virtually. Also, working with pandemic response teams to create temporary spaces in unconventional spaces so they can respond quickly and effectively treating those in need.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Belroc?
The team spirit is great here and the satisfactory feeling of being able to solve problems for my clients.
What’s the most challenging thing about your job?
I guess I would say the most challenging thing would be to come up with creative ideas, to make a client feel that they are missing something that other people in their field of work are benefitting from.
Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work.
I live in a town just north of Kington called Glenburnie with my wife and my two sons. One is almost 3 and the other one just turned 1. I don’t really have any specific hobbies per se, but I do enjoy being outside enjoying the good weather during the summer months with the family, going to parks and to the water. To relax I like to have a few friends in and share some nice whiskey and wine along with some BBQ and just chill on the deck.
